A standard option of the floor structures soundproofing suitable for almost any housing (with some variations) is as follows: at least three layers (150 mm) of the sound-absorbing 60 kg/m³ MaxForte-ECOslabs should be mounted between the beams to isolate the airborne noise (like voices, shouts, TV, radio), and the vibration dampers (damping pads) should be mounted on the beams to isolate the impact noise (creaks, tramping, footsteps, falling objects). In addition, the massive sheet materials (like plywood, OSB, gypsum plasterboard) should be used instead of the rough floor boards in order to increase the tightness and sound insulation of the floor structure.
